This permanent role reports to the Director of HR and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage the National full-cycle recruitment processes for Associate Dentists, Clinic Managers, Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Dental Receptionists, and Clinic Support Staff using Ceridian Dayforce
  • Provide full-cycle recruitment support: intake meeting, sourcing, screening, conducting, and coordinating interviews & offers for the assigned client group
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including recommendations on sourcing/recruitment strategy
  • Partner with the Marketing team to design and execute customized recruitment campaigns and any recruitment collateral for conferences, events, and internal communications
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to hiring managers through the recruitment process
  • Train all levels of management on proper interviewing techniques and the use of an applicant tracking system
  • Establish partnerships with local colleges, universities community programs to build a pipeline for future hiring needs and oversee the National Student Placement Programs across Canada
  • Oversee new hire onboarding, creation of Associate Agreements, background checks, and maintaining talent metrics and analytics
  • Work closely with operations, HR, and immigration Lawyers on any foreign work permits
  • Organize, plan and attend career fairs and conferences – across Canada
  • Build a Talent pipeline for Hard to Fill roles. Leverage social media plans & activity for active sourcing
  • Support and coordinate Talent Acquisition Projects and other ad hoc HR projects as needed


 Qualifications:

  • A degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management is preferred. Recruitment designation is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years of high-volume recruitment experience is a must
  • Previous healthcare, dental or retail recruitment experience would be highly desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (French will be considered an asset)
  • Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and Human Rights Code
  • Depth of experience/knowledge in Talent Acquisition including targeted sourcing strategies, social media campaigns, and candidate assessments
  • Experience with campus recruiting both with universities as well as Colleges
  • Strong interpersonal skills - influencing, connecting, convincing, negotiating, collaborative and customer-centric
  • Comfortable leading meetings as required and delivering presentations/training and updates to groups
  • Travel required within Canada and Ontario – approximately 10%
