Responsibilities
- Pre-contract activity includes:
- Program wide stakeholder engagement to identify the requirement
- Supplier Qualification (PQQ), tender process, RFI, RFP, RFP with vendors
- Tender evaluations
- Contract negotiation and agree on robust commercial agreements for ISI and the client
- Supplier management includes:
- Develop and improve supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Contract management includes:
- Execution of negotiated contract through ISI’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) & MRP (Material Resource Planning) systems
- Integrated sourcing initiatives include:
- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies
- Analyze market conditions (ex: pricing, availability, lead-time and capacity)
- Continuous improvement includes:
- Support new product introduction activities
- Apply the principles of continuous improvement to the design and development of supply chain processes
- Undertake cost analysis for direct material and services
- Issue POs for material
Qualifications
- Education Required: University Degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a procurement, supply chain or engineering function
- Procurement/Supply Chain accreditation: SCMP, MCIPS or ISM would be an ass
- Defence experience would be an asset
- Proven commercial skillset
- Demonstrable results-focused
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Previous exposure to market analytics and insights
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
