Our Vancouver-based client is looking for someone who will provide support as advised and assist in the design, configuration, development, and deployment of business solutions based on the SharePoint platform. This is a 12- month contract and is available to candidates specifically in Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing sustainment and support of existing SharePoint sites and solutions
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting all SharePoint custom code and associated Dev/Ops pipelines
  • Incident response and resolution for issues with SharePoint production solutions relating to SharePoint functional configuration or custom code
  • Design, configure, development, test, and deploy sophisticated business solutions on the SharePoint platform
  • Maintain and improve SharePoint UX/UI
  • Ensure and facilitate strong QA practices over development and code management
  • Ensure compliance with development standards and practices
  • Perform code reviews for SharePoint-related projects and provide oversight ensuring compliance with industry and QA practices, code standards, and development best practices
  • Standard business analysis responsibilities as they relate to any solution and mote specifically SharePoint including but not limited to:
    • Participate in solution analysis (mostly SharePoint related)
    • Delivery and facilitation Quality Assurance
    • Development of Test plans, Test cases, and the execution of test plans
    • Using Agile, the definition of Epics, Features, and User Stories
  • Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in mentoring Scrum and Kanban teams
  • Participate in the development of metrics and measures to improve SharePoint support and solution delivery
  • Engage partners by raising impediments, validating risk, and presenting status and performance metrics
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with SharePoint ideally with on-prem SharePoint (2013, 2016, 2019) functionality and SharePoint Online functional expertise. Certification in any of these would be beneficial
  • 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer with Angular, React, Sharegate, and Web UX/UI Certification in any of these is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile solution delivery tools, techniques, and methodology. Certification anis an asset
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor.
  • Technical experience working with various technology stacks, not just SharePoint is considered an asset.
  • Possess relevant designations/ certificates including: Scrum or Agile training (e.g. SAFe® Scrum Master / Advanced Scrum Master), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CPS), Professional Scrum Master (PSM1 or PSM2), or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)) is an asset
  • SharePoint Platform management skills – technical backend, deployment skills that facilitate the management of farms, utility integration, and other more technical platform management functions would be an added benefit
