If you are a talented and experienced Recruitment Specialist, David Aplin Group has partnered with a rapidly growing Nisku-based organization to add a Recruitment Specialist to their team. This role will begin with an 80% focus on high-volume Recruitment initiatives for multiple service locations and 20% on HR Generalist duties. As the organization grows the focus will shift towards more HR Generalist duties.

Please note - there is travel within Canada involved in this role.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process in the identification and assessment of external talent using creative and proactive methods
  • Develop a sourcing strategy for each vacancy and execute against that strategy
  • Partner with Management teams to drive the recruitment process by setting expectations and maintaining consistent internal and external communication
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, competitive landscape, and overall strategy to increase recruiting effectiveness
  • Attend job fairs, and other networking events to develop & maintain a strong external network to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent for current and future hiring needs
  • Leverage the use of our ATS and other talent acquisition tools and platforms including social media, lead generation sources, professional associations, and events
  • Consult with hiring managers to help them make optimal hiring decisions
  • Manage third-party relationships to ensure appropriate service levels are being delivered and agreed terms are being followed.
  • Manage grievances and employee relations investigations
  • Manage training and orientation of new staff and update training initiatives for current staff
Responsibilities:
  • Experienced with the full cycle recruiting experience
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience. Must have the confidence and eagerness to spearhead new HR initiatives autonomously and present HR ideas and solutions to the Management team.
  • Proven experience in using innovative and proactive sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and ‘hard to fill’ roles
  • Ability to influence, gain creditability, and build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Professional with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work independently
