As a Recruiter, reporting to the Director of Employee Resources, you will be responsible for meeting staffing needs through the delivery of full-cycle recruitment activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the attraction of top talent by utilizing a range of sourcing techniques to find both active and passive candidates, including LinkedIn and other sourcing strategies. As a Recruiter, you will support candidates through the application process, assessing skills, conducting interviews, and recommending the best candidates for each role.

  • Building trust and rapport with hiring leaders while guiding them through the end-to-end recruitment process, and partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs

  • Screening and evaluating candidate qualifications in relation to the position requirements to determine a successful match
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process
  • Conducting behavioral-based interviews to assess candidate knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude against the corresponding vacancy
  • Performing reference checks and evaluating candidate credentials
  • Providing sound recommendations to hiring managers
  • With HR Advisor guidance, building accurate offer letters to support a clear articulation of our employment value proposition to prospective new hires
  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Developing creative sourcing and recruiting resources to expand talent portfolio and attract qualified candidates
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Completing timely reports on hiring activity
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the environmental consulting industry
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office technology
  • An exceptional ability to assess top talent and work with all levels of leadership to fill vacant roles
  • Outgoing and confident personality
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and effectively manage up to 30 requisitions
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews, structured, competency-based, behavioral, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently
