Our British Columbia-based client has partnered with Maria Pozas, Principal to lead their next search for someone to manage key areas such as grievance management, language interpretation, duty to accommodate and all other LR/ER matters.
Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
Manages the LR/ER of the assigned site; manages the administration and interpretation
of the collective agreements, the administration of grievances and discipline, arbitration and negotiating agreements.
Provides advice and guidance to management regarding the interpretation, compliance and administration of the Collective Bargaining
Interfaces with union representatives on all labour relations matters including but not limited to developing and compiling documentation, reviewing employee personnel files and making recommendations.
Prepares for and participates in mediations and arbitrations as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or HR or equivalent knowledge and experience.
5 years professional level experience in LR including negotiations and arbitration.
