The internal auditor will maintain a strong control environment and focus on implementing industry best practices in the internal audit function. Responsibilities
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with internal audit policy
  • Maintaining and monitoring a controlled environment consistent with industry best practices (SOX and COSO frameworks)
  • Performing and reporting on internal audit control tests
  • Liaises with CEO and Audit Committee on pressing issues, and creates controls and tests to ensure the safeguarding of Company assets
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Looks for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy by standardizing procedures
  • Exceptionally well organized and time management skills
  • Broad understanding of standard accounting principles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Extremely proficient both with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • University degree (finance, accounting, general business)
