Human Resources Manager

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a leader in CPG to recruit a Human Resources Manager who will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Compensation:100-120K base + bonus

You will be responsible for providing business partnership support to all key functional areas of the organization. This role will support strategic initiatives across the full employee lifecycle to help achieve the goals of the company.

The Role:

• Lead Human Resource project management across the organization
• Together with a cross-functional team, contribute to the achievement of growth-oriented organizational goals 
• Analyze and recommend opportunities for new HR initiatives 
• Develop innovative programs to enhance the employee experience 
• Recruitment and on-boarding of new staff positions at all levels 
• Provide confidential HR advisory services to all employees as required including problem resolution, policy interpretation, workplace investigations, etc.
• Work with team to ensure payroll, benefits, budgets, and headcount are all aligned
• Ownership of the Health and Safety Programs
• Manage Training and Development initiatives
• Oversee accurate administration of healthcare benefits program, compensation program, training, performance management and all other employment and compliance-related record-keeping

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related field 
• 7 to 10 years HRBP experience in a manufacturing setting 
• Ability to foster a collaborative relationship among other functional areas (Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Resource Procurement) 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Payroll experience is highly desired 
• Must be a highly organized team player with a strong focus on detail and accuracy 
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines 
• Strong knowledge of ADP/WorkForce Now software an asset 
• CHRL designation would be an asset
