Human Resources Business Partner

Reporting to the Director of People & Organizational Development, you will be responsible for implementing HR solutions to address critical business needs and emerging strategic initiatives. You will act as an integral part of the business unit’s management team by developing effective working relationships, in support of the achievement of the organizational goals and HR strategies.

• Compensation: 100k base + bonus

Responsibilities:

• Build strong business relationships with the organizational unit and collaborate with the business leaders to design, implement and monitor HR solutions
• Engage and contract with Corporate HR to ensure business requirements for HR services are met
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by providing guidance, advice, and coaching to the client
• Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations in compliance with corporate policy and procedures, and legislation and in partnership with the relevant business leader, legal and HR support

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience supporting a Technology team
• Professional level of knowledge in the field of Human Resources, Commerce, or Business
• Technical knowledge of several human resources activities including, strategic planning, performance management, recruiting, staffing, pay and benefits, compensation, organization design, classification, employment equity, and employee relations
• Experience in business partnering, change management, and coaching
• Proficiency in MS Office
