On behalf of our client, the David Aplin Group is currently recruiting an HRIS Analyst to join their team. The HRIS Analyst will evaluate, analyze, design, and maintain the company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - Workday. This role may also require the HRIS Analyst to lead and direct the work of others.

Proactively provide insight into the optimization of HR technology (focused on meeting the needs of our workforce and creating a positive employee experience)
Work with the human resources, payroll, and technical teams to implement new system functionality This includes analysis, design, development, testing, and post-go-live troubleshooting and support
Provide analytics and metrics and produce scheduled reports
Develop reports, perform analysis on human resources and payroll data, identify trends and develop dashboards
Deliver support to the human resources and payroll teams with troubleshooting and issue resolution
Lead application testing prior to the release of software updates, new functionality, and configuration changes
Maintain procedures and business process documentation
Ensure data integrity through quality assurance and proactively validating data
Assist in other areas of human resources as needed
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer science, or related field or directly related experience
Three to Five years’ payroll/HRIS experience in a professional services environment
Experience using Workday is an asset, specifically the following modules: Core HCM, Absence, Time, Payroll, Talent (Performance and Succession), Skills and Recruiting
Advanced understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures
Strong knowledge of Excel and an understanding of database reporting
Exhibits strong communication skills for ensuring that employees and other departments have access to the information they need
Possesses an analytical mind for determining when software changes should be made and how systems can be made more efficient
Demonstrates an ability to teach others how to use various systems effectively
Shows an ability to keep up with changing technologies and attend meetings or conferences for ongoing education
