The HR Manager will provide generalist HR support to the Vancouver studio in addition to being a Business Partner to the members of the management team.
Act as the key HR contact and Business Partner to the local Head of Studio and other Managers
Provide advice and expertise to management
at all levels on employee relations, performance management and other HR-related matters
Ensure legal compliance and balance with commercial priorities
Maintain knowledge of immigration policies and plans and work with HR and Immigration Specialist colleagues to provide immigration support to the team
Undertake salary benchmarking and surveys
Ensure HR and payroll systems are kept updated and maintained
Previous experience in an HRBP or HR Manager role
Experience within the film industry is an asset
Degree and business qualification in HRM or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
