David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a talented Electrical Analyst to work at one of their main production sites in Montreal.
The successful incumbent will support the hardware development lifecycle consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, and verification in order to deliver electronic or electrical components and subassemblies into projects and products.
Organize the new product introductions and ensure all the required resources are in place
Investigate and analyze technical problems affecting production
Facing the short deadlines typical of a dynamic production environment proposes solutions that may involve design changes
Writes ECOs to document changes and takes part in reviewing changes proposed by engineering
Takes part in coaching and training production technicians
Analyze yield and proposes solutions to support quality and productivity objectives
Suggests and implements improvements to products, and testing and repair procedures in accordance with Lean philosophy
Takes an active part in design reviews to ensure that products are designed for manufacturing
Takes part in process improvement projects in order to achieve target objectives
University degree in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years of relevant experience in the design of digital and RF circuits in the telecommunications field
Very strong leadership skills
Ability to communicate in both English and French
A good analytical mind and comprehensive knowledge of IT
The ability to acquire a Controlled Goods Security Clearance is required
