The individual will be a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts.
Leading and motivating a team of sales professionals to improve customer service with clients
Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets
Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
Effectively represent the organization by communicating the solutions that would be brought to the marketplace, while developing and implementing plans for strategic accounts
Gather the initial customer needs and collaborate with engineering and solution development to provide the best solution to the customer
Collaborate with marketing to perform customer presentations articulating the value proposition of product/solution/service offerings
Develop an understanding of the customers' organizational structure and key buying influences of assigned accounts and opportunities
Be proactive in Lead Generation by creating opportunities within new, competitive, and existing accounts and facilitate interactions with key prospects to drive organic growth
Develop a Target Account Growth and Penetration Strategies leading to new closable opportunities, while focusing on retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty
Increase the inbound lead volume and quality to create a robust pipeline of qualified leads
Provide leadership with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and price levels
Identify, develop, and manage integrator or OEM partners to achieve sales goals
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role within the automation or material handling systems industry
In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices
Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel approximately 30% for customer site visits
