Director of Education
The Board of Education is inviting applications for the position of Director of Education. The successful candidate will be energetic and experienced, with a proven track record of leadership, engagement, equity, diversity, and inclusion. The Director reports to the Board of Education and is the chief executive officer of the Division with responsibility for Student Welfare, Educational Leadership, Fiscal Responsibility, Personnel Management, Policy/Procedures, Board Relations, Strategic Planning & Reporting, Organizational Management, Communications and Community Relations, and Leadership Practise.

All candidates must meet the criteria for membership in the League of Educational Administrators, Directors, and Superintendents (LEADS), including:
- Holding or meeting the requirements for a Professional A Teacher’s certificate.
- A Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience and a minimum of two years of experience in Canada as an educational administrator.
Duties will commence in time for the 2022-23 school year.
