Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with David Aplin Group to hire a Brand Marketing Specialist based in Calgary. This is a full-time 1-year contract with the potential to lead to a permanent position. We are looking for a strong business writer with an acute sense of how B2B audiences respond to marketing materials.
 
If you have experience in B2B marketing/branding and managing ongoing projects involving multiple internal stakeholders, this is the role for you!
 
Benefits & Perks:
  • Salary ranges from $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience. Generous benefit plan and perks as well
Responsibilities:
  • Champion the company's brand, visions, values, voice, and image
  • Assist the Content Marketing Lead in developing brand marketing plans to drive overall business goals and objectives
  • Execute specialty brand projects, as well as monitor and update project tasks/timelines and budgets as necessary
  • Produce engaging, clear, concise copy for different advertising channels such as website, print, social media, email campaigns, and catalogs
  • Create original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Research keywords
  • Proofread work for accuracy and quality
  • Support the full design and execution of branding projects (such as recruitment marketing campaigns, ‘green’ initiatives, charitable initiatives, etc.)
  • Coordinate brand asset development for branding projects including videography and photography
  • Support brand presence on a website (HTML knowledge is a bonus!)
  • Execute social media strategy. Support the creation, distribution, and editing of content across all platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube)
  • Increase engagement on all social media platforms
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, or Business
  • 2-3 years of marketing or communications experience preferably experienced with business-to-business marketing
  • Proven experience executing on marketing and branding programs
  • Experience with social media marketing and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Experience creating content that markets to potential employees
  • Experience using content management systems, email marketing systems, various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), and analytics programs
  • Experience with video editing
  • Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Indesign) is a bonus
