Responsibilities:

  • Assisting members with a variety of medical, health and welfare claims
  • Processing claims and assisting members with inquiries via phone as well as email and written correspondence 
  • Working closely with the benefits department
  • Registering new employees for group benefit
  • Provide Reception coverage as required
  • Filing and other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:
  • 2 plus years of experience processing disability and/or  medical/health claims
  • Strong communication skills verbally & written 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & Outlook; as well as AS400 systems
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable working within a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to follow office procedures
